Rax Systems is founder-led and deliberately small. We take on a limited number of commissions and build each one as production software — versioned, tested where it matters, and deployed for real use.
The work spans two lanes: fast static websites and web apps, and custom AI and automation tooling. The thread through both is engineering discipline — clean, dependency-light builds we can stand behind.
Underneath the commission work, we're building toward Aegis, a systems product with a defense direction. It's honestly early. Client work is what funds it, and what keeps our standards sharp.

Aegis is the reason Rax exists as a company and not just a freelance desk. It's a systems product with a defense direction — in active development, not yet released. We won't oversell it: there's no launch date and no screenshots to flash here yet.
What we will say is that it's where the engineering rigor from the commission work is heading. When there's something real to show, this is where it lands.
